Accessibility Statement
OpsBeam is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
At OpsBeam, we believe that the internet should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or disability. We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, and we strive to ensure that our digital content meets or exceeds the requirements of applicable accessibility laws and guidelines.
Conformance Status
Our current conformance target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA (opens in new tab). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. Conformance with these guidelines helps ensure that the website is accessible to people with a range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. Our most recent accessibility audit was completed in March 2026.
Measures We Take
OpsBeam takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our website:
- Include accessibility as part of our development practices and design process.
- Use semantic HTML elements to ensure proper document structure and meaningful content hierarchy.
- Provide sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background colors throughout the site.
- Ensure all interactive elements are fully operable via keyboard navigation.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for all meaningful images and visual content.
- Use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes where necessary to enhance the experience for assistive technology users.
- Design responsive layouts that function well at various zoom levels, up to 200% magnification.
- Conduct periodic accessibility reviews using both automated testing tools and manual evaluation.
Accessibility Features
Our website includes the following accessibility features:
- Keyboard Navigation: All pages and interactive elements can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard.
- Screen Reader Compatibility: Our site is structured with semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks to work effectively with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Text Alternatives: Images and non-text content include descriptive alt text or are marked as decorative where appropriate.
- Resizable Text: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Color Contrast: We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in accordance with WCAG 2.2 AA requirements.
- Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for interactive elements to assist keyboard and assistive technology users.
- Consistent Navigation: Navigation mechanisms are consistent across pages to support predictability and ease of use.
- Dark Mode Support: Our website supports both light and dark color schemes, respecting user system preferences.
- Reduced Motion: All animations respect the
prefers-reduced-motionuser preference, with a CSS-level fallback for comprehensive coverage. - ARIA Patterns: Interactive components like accordions, carousels, and tooltips follow WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices patterns for proper screen reader support.
Known Limitations
While we strive to ensure full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet be fully optimized:
- Third-Party Content: Some third-party integrations, such as reCAPTCHA and embedded widgets, may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA standards. We work with our vendors to encourage improvements.
- Animations: We respect the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query across all components. A global CSS fallback ensures animations are disabled for users who prefer reduced motion. Auto-playing carousels include pause controls and pause on keyboard focus. - Legacy Documents: Older PDF documents or downloadable files may not meet current accessibility standards. We are working to update these materials.
Areas Being Improved
We are actively working on enhancements in the following areas:
- Color Contrast: Reviewing and adjusting color contrast ratios across all pages, particularly in secondary text, placeholder text, and decorative elements, to consistently meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA requirements.
- Form Validation: Improving inline error messaging and accessible validation feedback so that form errors are clearly communicated to assistive technology users in real time.
- Carousel Accessibility: Enhancing keyboard interaction, focus management, and screen reader announcements within carousel and slider components to align with WAI-ARIA carousel patterns.
Compatibility
Our website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browsers:
- Modern versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Voice recognition software such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
- Screen magnification tools and browser zoom functionality.
Assessment and Evaluation
We assess the accessibility of our website through a combination of automated testing tools and manual evaluations, including keyboard-only navigation testing and screen reader testing. We regularly review our website to identify and address accessibility barriers.
Our automated testing pipeline includes the following tools:
- axe-core: Automated accessibility engine used for detecting WCAG violations at both development and CI/CD stages.
- Playwright: End-to-end browser testing framework used to verify accessibility behavior across pages and interactive components.
- eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y: Static analysis linting plugin that catches common accessibility issues in JSX during development.
- Lighthouse & WAVE: Additional automated auditing tools used for periodic manual reviews.
